‎بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّه 

 

Bismillâhi tawakkaltu ‘alallâhi wa lâ haula wa lâ quwwata illâ billâhil ‘aliyyil ‘adhîm.

 

“In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah; there is no power and no strength except with Allah.”

 

2. Prayer Upon Entering the Vehicle

الحَمْدُ للهِ/سُبْحَانَ الَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

 

Alhamdulillāhilladzī/subhānalladzī sakhkhara lanā hādzā wa mā kunnā lahū muqrinīna, wa innā ilā rabbinā lamunqalibūna.

 

“Glory is to Him Who has provided this for us, though we could never have had it by our efforts. Surely, unto our Lord, we are returning.”

 

Additionally, it's highly recommended to recite the following prayer:

بِسْمِ اللهِ مَجْرَهَا وَمُرْسَهَآاِنَّ رَبِّىْ لَغَفُوْرٌرَّحِيْمٌ

 

Bismillaahi majrahaa wa mursaahaa inna robbii laghofuurur rohiim.

 

“In the name of Allah, who steers its course and anchors it, truly my Lord is Most Forgiving and Merciful.”

 

3. Prayer for Safety During the Journey by Reciting Surah Al Ikhlas

 

(‎قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (١) اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ (٢) لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ (٣) وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (٤

 

Qul huwallâhu ahad. Allâhus shamad. Lam yalid, wa lam yûlad. Wa lam yakullahû kufuwan ahad.

 

“Say, “He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.”

4. Prayer Upon Arriving at the Destination

‎اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّىْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِهَا وَخَيْرَ مَافِيْهَا وَأَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ أَهْلِهَا وَشَرِّ مَافِيْهَا

 

Allaahumma innii as aluka lhairohaa wakhairo ahlihaa wakhairo maa fiihaa wa a'uudzubika min syarrihaa wa syaarri ahlihaa wa syarri maa fiihaa.

 

"O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this place, the goodness of its people, the goodness in it, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil in it."
